An attractive deciduous shrub, commonly known as Dwarf pomegranate, that performs well in a range of garden settings, grown for its orange flowers in summer, autumn.
Expect it to reach around 0.7m tall by 1m wide at 10 years. Happy in full sun on most soils, and needs good drainage and is drought-tolerant once established. Hardy in sheltered gardens, benefiting from a warm wall or winter protection in colder spots. Holds an RHS Award of Garden Merit.
