Pyrus calleryana 'Chanticleer'

An excellent deciduous tree, commonly known as Callery pear, for structure and long-term presence, notable for fine autumn tints.

Growing to around 5m tall by 3m wide at 10 years. Happy in full sun on most soils, and needs good drainage. It produces white flowers in spring, with attractive brown bark and brown fruits. Fully hardy throughout the UK and valuable for wildlife, attracting bees and birds.
