Pyrus communis 'Beurre Hardy' (Pear)
A first-rate deciduous tree, commonly known as Eating pear, offering real character in the landscape, prized for its autumn colour.
Expect it to reach around 5m tall by 2m wide at 10 years. Happy in full sun on most soils, and grows well in reasonably drained soil. Notable for yellow fruits. Hardy in most conditions and valuable for wildlife, attracting bees and birds. Holds an RHS Award of Garden Merit.
