An excellent deciduous tree, commonly known as Cooking & eating pear, for structure and long-term presence, notable for fine autumn tints.
Growing to around 5m tall by 2m wide at 10 years. Happy in full sun on most soils, and grows well in reasonably drained soil. Notable for green fruits. Hardy in most conditions and valuable for wildlife, attracting bees and birds.
