An excellent deciduous tree for structure and long-term presence, valued for its fragrant white flowers.
Growing to around 6m tall by 4m wide at 10 years. Happy in full sun on most soils, and needs good drainage and is drought-tolerant once established. Notable for good autumn colour and attractive grey bark and brown fruits. Fully hardy throughout the UK and valuable for wildlife, attracting bees and birds.
