Description: Salvia nemorosa 'Sensation Deep Blue' is a compact, free-flowering herbaceous perennial producing dense, upright spikes of deep violet-blue flowers above aromatic green foliage from late spring through summer. Part of the Sensation Series, it has been selected for a particularly neat, restrained habit making it ideal for the front of a sunny border, containers, or low planting schemes where its vivid flower colour provides a bold splash of cool blue. Deadheading or cutting back after flowering encourages a further flush of blooms and keeps the plant looking its best.
