Spiraea x vanhouttei
A reliable deciduous shrub, commonly known as Vanhoutt's spiraea, well suited to UK gardens, grown for its white flowers in summer.
Growing to around 1.8m tall by 1.8m wide at 10 years. Happy in full sun on most soils, and prefers moisture-retentive soil. Fully hardy throughout the UK and the flowers are a good nectar source for bees.
