An interesting evergreen conifer, commonly known as English yew,, well suited to a range of garden conditions, providing year-round structure and foliage.
Expect it to reach around 2m tall by 1.5m wide at 10 years. Happy in sun or partial shade on most soils, and copes well in dry shade. Notable for attractive red bark and red fruits. Fully hardy throughout the UK and valuable for wildlife, attracting bees and birds. Holds an RHS Award of Garden Merit.
