A fine evergreen herbaceous perennial, commonly known as Alaska fringecup, for cottage-style or mixed plantings, prized for its autumn colour.
It grows to around 0.25m tall with a spread of 0.7m. Happy in partial to light shade on most soils, and happy in moisture-retentive or damp ground. It produces yellow flowers in spring. Fully hardy throughout the UK.
