Tetrapanax papyrifer 'Rex'

A versatile evergreen shrub that earns its place in borders and mixed plantings, providing year-round structure and foliage.

Reaching around 2m tall by 2m wide at 10 years. Happy in full sun, though it tolerates some shade on most soils, and needs good drainage. It produces white flowers. Hardy in sheltered gardens, benefiting from a warm wall or winter protection in colder spots.
