Teucrium fruticans
A versatile evergreen shrub, commonly known as Shrubby germander, that earns its place in borders and mixed plantings, grown for its blue flowers in summer, autumn.
Reaching around 1m tall by 2m wide at 10 years. It is best in full sun, though it tolerates some shade, in alkaline to neutral soils, and needs good drainage and is drought-tolerant once established. Hardy in sheltered gardens, benefiting from a warm wall or winter protection in colder spots.
