Viburnum tinus

A versatile evergreen shrub, commonly known as Laurustinus, that earns its place in borders and mixed plantings, grown for its white flowers in winter, spring.

Reaching around 2m tall by 2m wide at 10 years. Happy in sun or partial shade on most soils, and suits most soils from well-drained to damp and is drought-tolerant once established. Notable for black fruits. Hardy in most UK gardens and valuable for wildlife, attracting bees, birds and butterflies.
