An attractive evergreen shrub, commonly known as Laurustinus, that performs well in a range of garden settings, grown for its pink flowers in winter, spring.
Expect it to reach around 3m tall by 3m wide at 10 years. Happy in sun or partial shade on most soils, and grows well in reasonably drained soil and is drought-tolerant once established. Hardy in most UK gardens and valuable for wildlife, attracting bees and butterflies. Holds an RHS Award of Garden Merit.
