Growing to around 3m tall by 3m wide at 10 years. Happy in sun or partial shade on most soils, and suits most soils from well-drained to damp and is drought-tolerant once established. Notable for black fruits. Hardy in most UK gardens and valuable for wildlife, attracting bees, birds and butterflies.
