Vitis vinifera 'Phoenix'

An excellent deciduous climber, commonly known as Grape vine, for clothing vertical surfaces.

It grows to around 10m tall with a spread of 4.5m. It is best in full sun, in alkaline soils, and grows well in reasonably drained soil. Notable for green fruits. Reliably hardy across most of the UK and the fruits provide food for birds.
