An attractive evergreen shrub, commonly known as Goucher's large flowered abelia, that performs well in a range of garden settings, prized for its sweetly scented pink blooms.
Expect it to reach around 1.8m tall by 1.8m wide at 10 years. Happy in full sun, though it tolerates some shade on most soils, and grows well in reasonably drained soil. Reliably hardy across most of the UK. Holds an RHS Award of Garden Merit.
