Acer rubrum 'Brandywine' - 12 litre
A first-rate deciduous tree, commonly known as Red maple, offering real character in the landscape, prized for its autumn colour.
Expect it to reach around 5m tall by 1m wide at 10 years. It is best in full sun, in acid to neutral soils, and prefers moisture-retentive soil. It produces red flowers in spring, with attractive grey bark and red fruits. Fully hardy throughout the UK and the flowers are a good nectar source for bees.

Description: A handsome bell-shaped large tree with broad and imposing maple leaves. This form has exceptional autumn colour of red-purple, vibrant when seen against the light and long-lasting. Note: horses can die or become anaemic if they eat the dried or wilted leaves.
