Common name: hardy kiwi
Description: A vigorous, twining climber grown for its small, smooth-skinned, sweet red-fleshed fruits, produced in autumn once pollinated by a male or self-fertile kiwi. Fragrant cream-white flowers appear in early summer amid handsome dark green foliage.
Other benefits: smooth edible skin so no peeling needed, sweeter than standard kiwi fruit, good for covering a pergola or fence
