Asplenium scolopendrium (E)

An interesting semi-evergreen fern, commonly known as Hart's tongue fern,, well suited to a range of garden conditions, providing year-round structure and foliage.

It grows to around 0.6m tall with a spread of 0.6m. It is best in partial to light shade, in alkaline to neutral soils, and copes well in dry shade. Fully hardy throughout the UK. Holds an RHS Award of Garden Merit.
