Description: This elegant perennial produces feathery plumes of soft pink flowers that create a romantic display in summer. The fluffy flower spikes rise above mounds of attractive, deeply divided, ferny foliage, bringing both colour and texture to shade borders and moisture-loving schemes. Pink astilbes are perfect for woodland gardens, bog gardens, pond margins, and shady borders where their graceful plumes illuminate darker areas. The flowers are excellent for cutting whilst the attractive foliage provides structure throughout the growing season.
