Camellia x williamsii 'Black Lace'

An attractive evergreen shrub that performs well in a range of garden settings, grown for its red flowers in winter, autumn.

Expect it to reach around 2m tall by 2m wide at 10 years. It is best in partial to light shade, in acid to neutral soils, and grows well in reasonably drained soil. Reliably hardy across most of the UK. Holds an RHS Award of Garden Merit.
