A reliable evergreen shrub, commonly known as Williams hybrid camellia, well suited to UK gardens, grown for its white flowers in winter, spring.

Growing to around 2.5m tall by 2m wide at 10 years. It is best in partial to light shade, in acid to neutral soils, and grows well in reasonably drained soil. Reliably hardy across most of the UK. Holds an RHS Award of Garden Merit.
