An excellent evergreen climber, commonly known as Cartman's clematis, for clothing vertical surfaces, grown for its white flowers in spring.
It grows to around 3m tall with a spread of 4m. Happy in full sun, though it tolerates some shade on most soils, and grows well in reasonably drained soil. Notable for white fruits. Hardy in most UK gardens and the flowers are a good nectar source for bees.
