Cordyline australis 'Torbay Dazzler'

A versatile evergreen shrub, commonly known as Cabbage tree of New Zealand, that earns its place in borders and mixed plantings, valued for its fragrant white flowers.

Reaching around 1.5m tall by 1m wide at 10 years. Happy in full sun, though it tolerates some shade on most soils, and grows well in reasonably drained soil and is drought-tolerant once established. Notable for ornamental grey stems. Hardy in sheltered gardens, benefiting from a warm wall or winter protection in colder spots. Holds an RHS Award of Garden Merit.
