Description: 'Durango Yellow' is a bright, cheerful French marigold bearing large, fully double, rich yellow blooms from early summer to the first frosts of autumn. Like all varieties in the Durango series it is compact, weather-resistant, and easy to grow, performing reliably in beds, borders, and containers with minimal care. It is also a valued companion plant in the vegetable garden, where its pungent scent is said to repel common pests.
