Cydonia oblonga (Quince)
A handsome deciduous tree, commonly known as Quince tree, that makes a fine specimen in the garden, valued for its fragrant flowers.
Reaching around 5m tall by 4m wide at 10 years. Happy in full sun on most soils, and prefers moisture-retentive soil. Notable for good autumn colour and yellow fruits. Reliably hardy across most of the UK and the fruits provide food for birds.
