In autumn, it bears small but intensely fragrant white flowers that perfume the garden from a distance. This tidy variety is excellent for formal and informal hedging, screens, or as a standalone specimen shrub. Highly wind tolerant and adaptable, it will thrive in coastal gardens and exposed positions where many other shrubs would struggle.
