Hedera colchica 'Sulphur Heart' (v)
A vigorous evergreen climber, commonly known as Persian ivy, for walls, fences and pergolas, valued for its fragrant green flowers.
It grows to around 3m tall with a spread of 3m. Happy in partial to light shade on most soils, and copes well in dry shade and is drought-tolerant once established. Notable for black fruits. Reliably hardy across most of the UK and the flowers are a good nectar source for bees. Holds an RHS Award of Garden Merit.
