An excellent evergreen climber, known as Common ivy, for clothing vertical surfaces.
It grows to around 10m tall with a spread of 6m. Happy in sun or partial shade on most soils, and copes well in dry shade and is drought-tolerant once established. Reliably hardy across most of the UK and valuable for wildlife. Holds an RHS Award of Garden Merit.
