Details
A fine evergreen herbaceous perennial for cottage-style or mixed plantings, grown for its purple flowers in summer, autumn.
It grows to around 0.3m tall with a spread of 0.46m. It is best in full sun, though it tolerates some shade, in acid to neutral soils, and copes well in dry shade and is drought-tolerant once established. Reliably hardy across most of the UK. Holds an RHS Award of Garden Merit.
