A handsome evergreen tree that makes a fine specimen in the garden, valued for its fragrant white flowers.
Reaching around 3m tall by 1.5m wide at 10 years. Happy in full sun, though it tolerates some shade on most soils, and grows well in reasonably drained soil and is drought-tolerant once established. Notable for attractive brown bark. Reliably hardy across most of the UK.
