Description: Pittosporum tenuifolium 'Variegatum' is an elegant and refined evergreen shrub producing grey-green wavy-edged leaves with a crisp, irregular creamy-white margin. The attractive variegated foliage, carried on near-black stems, gives the plant a sophisticated, light quality that works beautifully in both contemporary and traditional planting schemes. In late spring, tiny honey-scented chocolate-purple flowers are produced. Widely valued by florists for cut foliage, it is also an excellent choice for hedging, screening, and mixed borders in sheltered UK gardens.
