Details
A first-rate deciduous tree, commonly known as Japanese pagoda tree, offering real character in the landscape, grown for its yellow flowers in summer.
Expect it to reach around 8m tall by 4m wide at 10 years. Happy in full sun on most soils, and needs good drainage and is drought-tolerant once established. Notable for attractive grey bark. Fully hardy throughout the UK and the flowers are a good nectar source for bees.
