This is showy ground cover with good sized leaves boldly and irregularly patterned in yellow and rich green. The young stems are pink flushed. There are rounded pale blue flowers, though not borne with great freedom, appearing spring. This is best placed with shrubs that have simple, single coloured foliage to highlight the ground cover without causing confusion of patterns.
